The 2nd Annual Military Vehicle Show was held during Raspberry Festival in Hopkins on July 15. The event was held at the Hopkins VFW and was a fundraiser for the Minneapolis Veterans Home. Richard D. Cady, Patriotic Heritage Honor Guard, https://phhonorguard.org/contact/ had a nice military display inside the VFW with many soldiers featured.

Chanhassen AutoPlex, Chanhassen MN

Chanhassen AutoPlex, Chanhassen MN

We visited the Chanhassen AutoPlex on Saturday April 30. Their featured charity partner for April is Cars Against Crime. Cars and Caves car shows run from 8:00 AM to 12:00.

From their website at     chanhassenautoplex.com/about-us/

"Cars and Caves car shows are open to the public. There is no admission charge to see hundreds of cars and dozens of dream garages. Each Cars and Caves show is dedicated to a different charity and, when visitors arrive, they are invited to make a voluntary contribution directly to the charity.

Chanhassen AutoPlex owners are committed to using their car collections and garage condominiums to raise money for charity. Our events have raised over $20,000 for charities including Ronald McDonald Houses, Goodwill Easter Seals, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Chanhassen Firemen, Special Olympics Minnesota, and Bridging among others."

Chanhassen Brewery Car Show

All,
Need to let you know that a few more Cars would have been nice but I didn't get help to advertise  would have like. Yes it was last minute planning this 1st Time Show But timing in conjunction with the Autoplex was not helpful but I did let the owner of the Brewery Company know the situation ahead of time and he wanted to go with that date. Next one probably in August will be on a day that will work better and maybe more help from you Folks.
I let the Brewery do the advertising on Face book but should have created a flyer like I do for my Shows cause a couple of mistake were made the confused the starting time as a couple Cars came at 7pm the end of the Show. Couple of mistake in the Face book Page where made like a one was the time in a sentenc7e was list like this 4 in a black latter 7 in a blue letter which some folks paid attention to the Blue letter as the 7 being the starting time. Got it?
Thanks to the Folks who did show up I appreciate it Plenty of Door prizes for those who showed up.
Another issue was I listed near Target and LeeAnn Chins I heard it said Folk didn't want to swelter in and open parking lot those buildings were mentioned for a landmark as where to go to the former Perkins Building address was given which now is  the Brewery and the land around and by the Brewery has plenty of trees and shade looks like a park!
Will learn from some mistakes made and try to be accurate in descriptions and try to pick the best date possible and hope some of the Car Folk can take a chance to do something new. I will make my own flyer as I have in the past.
Six Cars did show up then two more came after 7pm and left as Mildred my '49 was the only car left Will try again in August
 Cheers,
