July 13th 2013 Excelsior Cruze-In

Well dodged a bullet again, 4 inches of rain overnight and ominous looking Saturday morning but the cars started coming with a few first timers and a couple of surprises [see photos].

15 cars showed up which ain’t bad since another popular show was held that day. Had another door prize drawing which Doug Plocek helped with to pick the winners and have enough “Door” prizes left for the next show on July 27th so don’t miss another chance to be a winner! Nice mix of Cars again but the surprise was a very cool stock looking antique boat fitted with a jet-ski running gear, very clever.

Another attraction was the Fly-over by a B17 from a local Air Show. Gotta say there is nothing like the sound of a four prop huge plane, really cool!

So while I am rambling on I may as while mention that I need to hear from some of you for the Catholic Eldercare Cruze-In this coming Wednesday the 17th from 1 to 3pm sure would appreciate some of your time to help make the day for the residents. Need to have a Car/Head count for the facility as there will be a hot dog lunch and some pretty cool door prizes. Check my Blog by Tracy for Photos and info on the Catholic Eldercare Show.
