Just a quick note on some photos Tracy posted on the Blog. We went to the Henderson Roll-In last evening – perfect weather and first time for Tracy at this ongoing event which is huge! Shops open, lots of food trucks, small Farmers market, Historical buildings.

 

Ton of Cars, Motorcycles and people and we visited the Joseph R. Brown Henderson Founding Father Exhibit in the Minnesota River Center 600 Main St – very interesting.

 

Not to go on too much but 2 more Henderson MN Roll-Ins September 19 and 26 and one in October during Heritage days – check it out

Saturday Sept 23  is the HotRod Potluck at Rich & Michelle Gerstad's south of Buffalo MN. More information to follow.

Labor Day Car Show at Jack & Jim's Bar

On the 3 summer holidays, Memorial Day, July 4^th, and Labor Day Jack & Jim’s bar & grill in Duelm (near Foley) has a pretty good car show. Typically, around 60 cars or so, plus a nice large place to eat.

5th Annual Car Show at Wealshire Memory Care Facility in Bloomington MN 8/23/17 photos

Just a quick follow up note on my 5^th Annual Car Show at Wealshire Memory Care Facility in Bloomington last Wednesday [August 23^rd]. This was a rescheduled rainout Show as the original date was quite wet.

I never know how many Cars will show up on a regular scheduled Show let alone a rainout date but happy to say the allotted lot space was full! There were 24 vehicles which included one City Bus from a large Collection in Bloomington and a Convoy of Military Jeeps that honors Vets in these Facilities. The variety was great a little something for everyone.

This truly made the day of the Residents of Wealshire after being disappointed by the rainout the week before – they do indeed look forward to the Event! It give the Residents a break from their routine and brings back memories from their past,

The Car folk were treated with a “State Fair” food lunch for bringing their rides for the pleasure of the Residents. I personally would like to thank everyone for taking time to bring their Cars!
