Had a great day (as a judge again this year!) at the 10,000 Lakes Concours D'Elegance in Excelsior, MN. Also fun night on Friday cocktail and fundraiser for Bridging....Thom Lofquist Art as the Official Concours Artist --  two paintings were auctioned off this year benefitting Bridging... photos to come...

This Email and attachments is for the Thursday Chanhassen Event on how best to get to the event and timing. The whole Event kicks off at 6 pm once the streets are closed.

 The best way to get to the Car Show area is off Hwy 101 to get to West 78^th St at the end of town. Streets will be closed off in town at 5:30 so you may come as early as 5 pm and park in the Staging Lot by Dominos 400 West 78^th St Strip Mall near Chapel Hill Academy. There will be Guides there to point out were to park before the Show.

 Once West 78^th is closed we can start to Angle Park in the designated Car Show area shown on the Flier. I am also told there will some prize drawings.

 Anyway the weather will be nice and the Event will be fun. Come and be part of this event. Help me give them a good Car Show.

Mayer Classic Car Show

All,

Shows in full swing so you have many choices maybe even more than one a day. The Mayer Car and Cycle Show was fun - great local simple food Pulled Pork sandwich/Cole Slaw/Root Beer Floats Hot Dogs served by local folks - down home food simple but tasty!

Weekend weather gonna be super - Samaritan Saturday will be my choice, always good!

I am learning that my list doesn't include all shows that folks might be interested in but hopefully beside the ongoing shows the short list and new ones weekly are shows of interest. Will keep the repeats short and with a website if they have one. I will also send 2 pics of each car that caught my eye at separate shows although working on how to send more of each cars.

Have a great 4th and the Chanhassen Show is one of my favorite with all the events going on in town - Big Parade and the Carnival.
