A big thank you to all who brought their "Rides" to my Excelsior Car Shows during the summer of 2015 in some cases rain or shine to share with each other and the general public! Thanks also to my sponsors who helped pay for the City of Excelsior Permit to use a public lot - yep it ain't free and will the fee will increase next year!

Sponsors include the following - Excelsior Brewing Co., Gary's 1st Class, Excelsior Coin, Joey Novas and Kowalski's - and next year the City is raising the permit prices.

I can't forget all the businesses that provided gift certificates that were handed out as a drawing at the end of my shows hope the winners enjoyed them.

As some of you know I am involved in a Event group that puts on the Flea Market/Car Show/Christkindlsmarkt in Excelsior. Please check out the below request for volunteers for the Big Event that we need volunteers for the 3 days after Thanks Giving - Christkindlsmarkt a very fun event and when you volunteer your name will be put in a raffle for a chance at the many prizes mentioned below.

Even if you don't volunteer please plan on attending the Festival to do some Christmas shopping for unique gifts, get something to eat see the Reindeer and Alpaca, bring your children or Grandchildren to see Santa on the Trolley - lots to do and see - fun, fun!

Parade Cars Wanted for Christkindlsmarkt Fri 11/27

Excelsior Christkindlsmarkt is looking to have some collector cars participate in the Grande Parade which starts on Fri 11/27/15 at 10:00AM. This parade kicks off the Christmas Festival held every year in downtown Excelsior, MN.

The event is on Thanksgiving Weekend, Fri, Sat, Sunday Nov. 27 - Nov 29, 2015.

Tonka Cruzers last Car Show of the season 8/22/15

Betcha been wondering why no update of my Blog lately – me too, no one to blame but myself just a big procrastinator! I had to catch up on a mess of other “stuff” to do my Blog.

 

My last show for this season is this coming Saturday August 22 with the remainder of the drawing prizes to be given away. There will be bakery goods compliments of the new Kowalski’s Market which recently opened on the former Mason Motors lot, great store be sure and give it a try while in Excelsior.

 

It sure seems that the car season is going by so fast but there still are a lot of events left.

 

Just put a new set of tires on good old Mildred my '49 Ford – Diamond Back Wide White tires from Samaritan and gotta say what a difference in ride, handling and feeling of safety. Blake Dean from Samaritan told me a couple of the old tires almost fell apart upon removal.

 

Besides doing my shows, attending other shows and I have setup Cars for Girls Night out in Excelsior, Chanhassen 3^rd annual Night on the Town festival and am know working on an Assisted Living/Memory Care Car Show [3^rdAnnual] at Wealshire of Bloomington on August 26th.

 

Next will be the 7^th Annual at Minnetonka Assisted Living just off Williston and Minnetonka Blvd in September which is a big event.

Please join us for the last Tonka Cruzers Car Show in Excelsior, MN on Saturday August 22, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Located in the East Parking Lot, near the Excelsior Brewing Co.

 

June 13 Tonka Cruzers Car Show

Don't miss the June 13th Car Show - Art on the Lake is Saturday and Sunday so good place to be cause parking is at a premium for that event and while at my Show you can wander on down [if so inclined to the Commons to check it out].

 Pictures of 1st time cars for from the June 6th show are attached. Of course new set of drawings at the end of the show - I have some more great gift certificates but ya gotta stick around to noon for the prize drawing!
