Excelsior Cruise In this Saturday 6/29/13

Looking forward to some great weather Saturday 9am-12pm for the Car Show. Located at 440 Water Street, Excelsior, MN 55331 at the former Mason Motors Lot, downtown Excelsior across from TCF Bank. Bring your collector car, any vintage, to be eligible for door prizes. 

We had 32 cars a few weekends ago and are Hoping for a lot of cars Saturday!

Wealshire Car Show June 19th 2013 Bloomington, MN

How do you make a Cruze-In successful - you have Car Folk willing to donate a few hours of their time and display their "Rides" for the pleasure of the Residents of a Assisted Living Memory Care facility.

Add in a 1952 Mack restored City Bus and 13 Collector Cars, it doesn't get much better than that! The Car owners reward was seeing the Residents want their picture taken with maybe their car or other with a smile on the Residents face and maybe a memory of a certain car.

Wealshire provided a nice Hot Dog meal for us and anxious plans for next year at this facility which will have a new addition, more Residents and more cars.

Thank you all for bringing you cars [@ Bus] to make today a great success, very cool of you to take some time out of you day to do that!!

Tonka Cruzers Car Show June 15

June 15th Car Show went well with 4 more "First Timers" at the Tonka Cruzers Show - very fun to see these cars plus all others that attend, again thanks to all.

No show this Saturday [22nd] because most will be at Back to the Fifties at the State Fair grounds,can't compete with around 10,000 Cars.

Hope to see you back again on the 29th with the Door Prize drawings at that show.

Hard to believe it is almost July but hopefully we will have an extended stretch of good weather going into fall to make up for the lousy, wet Spring!!

Anyway enjoy this weekend with all the new cars in town and see you next Saturday.

Only a few hours out of your day but brings back a lifetime of memories for these folks and you will probably hear some great stories from the Residents.

The weather was nice a dry and warm for a change for the Tonka Cruzers 2nd car show at the old Mason Motors lot Saturday June 8th. There was a great turnout of 32 [Cars/Trucks/Buses/Pedicabs]

Nice variety of interesting vehicles to enjoy looking at and talking to the proud owners - always fun and learn something new by chatting with them.

There were 13 first timers which always make it interesting and a couple of the local Pedicabs even showed up to introduce themselves and offer rides [payment by tips - no set price].

Next weekend another show and hopefully good weather again - then a Saturday off for "Back to the Fifties" at the State Fair Grounds, can't miss that!!

Anyway a big thanks to the regulars who continue to support my show and great to see the new comers - fun year so far.

I will have a show on Saturday the 29th which isn't listed because I thought we had a wedding to attend but it is on Sunday the 30th. So to entice you to attend it will be the "Door Prize" Show - how fun is that?

Enough for now hope to see a good showing the 15th.

June 8, 2013 Tonka Cruzers Car Club - Excelsior Cruze In! We had a great day for a car show and were pleased by the turn out of 32 collector cars! Some new cars that we hadn't seen before showed up too.
Plus, we were excited to see two cars that were in last week's 10,000 Lakes Concours d'Elegance! These are very rare cars that you don't see everyday. Thanks to Cub Foods for supplying the donuts and thank you to everyone who came and then visited Excelsior Art on the Lake at the Commons. Below are some of the cars.
