Chanhassen AutoPlex first "Cars & Caves" is Saturday 4/27 from 8am - 12 noon. Our charity of the month is a good one, The Ronald McDonald House.
Welcome to Tonka Cruzers Car Club, a collector car club based in Excelsior, MN, hosted by Excelsior Christkindlsmarkt and coordinated by Rick Meyer, featuring summer car shows, cruises, and events in the Minneapolis / St Paul MN area. Attendance is free for visitors and exhibitors. All are welcome! Motto: "It's Just Fun!"

Did you get your Car "Fix" at the GSTA Car Show Sat/Sun went Saturday - well attended and lots to look at. Of course ran in to a number of the local car enthusiasts there nice to start seeing folks again!

Greetings it has been a while since
my last Blog update hope all is well! Just a little pictorial update of
Minnetonka Drive In Tree Lot/Spruce Tops/Wreaths and other decorations at the
tree lot.
Dave wanted pictures taken to
entice you to visit and maybe buy a beautiful fresh Tree or Wreath or Spruce
Top to make your humble Abode look Festive for the Season. Of course this meant
a photo gallery with Dave being the Star showing the items you need and to stop
by and checkout, purchase and Yak with Dave. Dave and Deb miss all of you!

Saturday 10/27/18 Toy Car Swap , Toy Car Show & notice for Excelsior Christkindlsmarkt Event
Rainy weekend no Car Shows but wait a minute, how about a Toy Car Swap Meet/Toy Show? I have gone to them in the past and they are interesting and you don’t need a big Garage if you find one or two to buy.
Fridley VFW Post 363 1040 Osborne Rd NE this Saturday the 27th Noon to 3 pm, $3 admission and early bird 11 am $5 Admission, Host: Warren Brant, who I bought my ’49 from Contact: 612-636-2450 or 763-588-2548

Here is a request from me for Cars preferably convertibles and Pickup trucks for the Opening Day Parade Friday November 23rd Christkindlsmarkt in Excelsior which runs from the day after Thanksgiving through Sunday [23rd to 25th]. I am part of the Events Group which has been putting the huge Outdoor Event for over 18 years. See the website below.
Bobby Jensen from KARE 11 will be the Grand Marshall this year. It is a fun Event with lots to do and see and Artesian crafts for early Christmas shopping for unique gifts.
Boy Scouts selling Wreaths, Tree Farm to buy a Beautiful Tree, Food Trucks, Live Alpaca and Reindeer, Trolley rides with Father Christmas, Children’s carpeted heated tent KinderWorld with special events scheduled for the children. Tons of fun and things to do – check the website!
Opening Day Parade Cars are weather dependent of course.

Well we know that the Car Show season has come to an end but it doesn’t mean there aren’t events to keep busy with. I will continue my Blog and email list with items of interest.
If you attended the last Car Show/Swap Meet at the State Fair grounds last Sunday what disappointing weather, wasn’t expected, felt sorry for the Vendors!
Here is something to do at the Minnetonka
