Tonka Cruzers Car Show on Aug 3, 2013 in Excelsior MN

Interesting that the nicest Saturday so far had the lowest car count but I guess that maybe some folks went to Cars and Coffee at the Chan MotorPlex and other destinations.
Some interesting new comers though and I hope they return – see pics.
The 2012 Dodge Challenger had some interesting features that the owner incorporated but one would think the features came from the factory, Very well done and appropriate to make the car the owners one off car!
Another car was a late comer that had a ton of great stories by the owner who by the way has owned it for 49 years. A nice and rare 1962 Studebaker Lark convertible, don’t remember how many he said were made but it wasn’t a high production number.
Jon came with his nice Camaro and Thom with his Museum quality '39 Ford Fordor.
Nice mix of cars as usual with many of the faithful showing up – thanks to all of you! Our young man who has done our Door Prize drawings was on hand too – think he might turn into a a Car Guy in the future, that’s a good thing.
Enough for now- 2 more shows left for the year August 17 and August 31st so put that on your calendar.
Thanks again to all who continue to support my show couldn’t do it without you.
